Zoom & Pan
Beta Status
Phosor is currently in an Internal Beta stage. Features may change before the public release. Performance may occasionally be inconsistent depending on hardware, image formats, and library size. Unexpected bugs may still occur. Feedback from beta testers is highly appreciated.
Phosor provides zoom, pan, and composition grid tools for evaluating photos during culling.
Zoom
Zoom Controls

The zoom slider and wheel zoom are synchronized.
Close inspection
Zoom allows close inspection of focus, noise, and detail — essential for evaluating which shots are keepers.
Pan
Click and drag the image to pan when zoomed in. Pan enables examining specific areas of high-resolution photos.
Pan requires zoom
Pan is not available when the image is at default zoom (50%). Zoom in first to enable panning.
Composition Grid

Alternatively, click the grid icon in the footer to toggle the overlay.
The grid overlay aligns with the displayed image bounds and assists with framing and alignment evaluation. The grid toggle button highlights when active.
Fixed grid
The grid is always 3×3 — no other grid configurations are available.
Reset Behavior
Zoom and pan state reset to defaults (50% zoom, centered) on each photo change.
Zoom resets on navigation
Zoom and pan reset to defaults when navigating to a new photo. This is by design to ensure each photo starts from a consistent viewing state. See Known Issues.
Current Limitations
- There is no fit-to-screen or 100% zoom shortcut.
- The grid is always 3×3 — no other grid configurations are available.
- Pan is not available when the image is at default zoom.
